Jon Jones rips Steve-O’s ear in horrific stunt, “I ripped half his ear off”-Jon Jones

Television personality and entertainer, Steve-O, has been a fan of Mixed Martial Arts for years.

The “Jackass” star is known for performing dangerous stunts. He recently visited the Jackson Wink MMA Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico to try new stunts.

Steve-O participated in a grappling match against UFC bantamweight, Holly Holm. Holly Holm quickly took Steve-O down and pinned him twice.

In true Steve-O fashion, his visit would not be complete unless a stunt was performed.

It appears as though Stevo-O wanted to get cauliflower ear. Cauliflower ear is a result of a blunt trauma to the ear. Many wrestlers and MMA fighters get cauliflower ears throughout their career.

The attempt to impress UFC lightweight champion, Jon Jones, went terribly wrong.

Instead of getting the cauliflower ear through the usual means of wrestling, Steve-O opted for a hammer.

The exact blow does not appear but the result was a bloody ear missing a size-able chunk.

“I ripped half his ear off”-Jon Jones stated.

Jon Jones posted a graphic video on twitter showing the horrific aftermath.

I’m getting ready to hurt Steve-O, Steve-O came to town, started talking sh*t,”.You see how that turned out for him. I ripped half his ear off. You think Mike Tyson did something to Holyfield? Mike Tyson had nothing!” said Jon Jones on Twitter

The video can still be seen on the twitter page of Jon Jones. Steve-O didn’t achieve his goal of getting cauliflower ear but he did get stitches and scars from the incident.

Besides performing stunts, Steve-O and Jon Jones participated with the C.A.R.E project to distribute supplies to the homeless of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Due to the recent pandemic, several local businesses have suffered losses which has led to a rise in unemployment.

Jon Jones has been taking a hiatus from the sport due to his recent public dispute with the UFC regarding pay.

During his time off, Jones has been leading several efforts in his community. He led a group of men during the social justice protests to prevent any looting a few weeks ago. He also organized an effort with team members to assist local business rebuild from the looting.

The future of Jones remains uncertain. Will he return to the octagon anytime soon?
