Gavin Tucker gets caught with his pants down, secures the rear-naked submission win
UFC Vegas 6 was full of headline moments. Spectacular knockouts and submissions capped off another successful night for the UFC.
The night started in an interesting fashion. Gavin Tucker’s shorts fell off during a grappling exchange in the first round.
Usually, the phrase”getting caught with your pants down” rarely comes with good connotations. But for Tucker having his pants down turned out to work out in his favor.
Tucker’s opponent Justin Jayes was dominating the first round until he escaped a submission and ended up on top. Tucker’s shorts fell in the process and he ended up on top. The distraction didn’t retract his focus. The Canadien stayed focused and managed to secure a rear-naked choke but Jaynes was saved by the bell. In the second round, Tucker turned up the heat and ended up getting the rear-naked choke submission win.

With the win. that marks two straight wins for Tucker. Perhaps, with the new apparel deal, Tucker can get a pair of properly fitting shorts.
The Canadian will look to climb up the rankings and fight a top tier opponent next.
