UFC legend and soon to be Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre makes his return to MMA but in a different role.

“GSP” will be stepping into the broadcast booth.

St-Pierre will be joining the Canadian channel Reseau des Sport(RDS).

On Friday, the UFC announced via press release that “GSP” will be the newest addition to the RDS broadcast team. The former two-division champion will serve as an analyst for the French language channel. He will commentate in the studio.

St-Pierre will make his analyst debut on Aug 15 for UFC 252.

GSP gave his thought following the announcement.

“I am very pleased to officially join the RDS team and I look forward to sharing my knowledge of mixed martial arts with the public,” St-Pierre said in Friday’s release. “I look forward to taking advantage of this new opportunity that RDS is offering me to have fun and exchange with the fans.”

The Canadian MMA superstar has had a near-perfect MMA career. With a 26-2 record Georges has managed to avenge his two losses and capture two different belts in two different weight classes.
